Ready, Set, Goal! How to Get Real and Get Goaling

Nov. 6, 2006 (Des Moines, Iowa) — Setting and achieving goals is an essential part of any successful business plan. An examination of the goals process and the steps a business owner should take to attain a goal is a valuable exercise that can maximize company potential and return.

As a dedicated partner to women owners of growing businesses, the Principal Financial Group® will offer a complimentary teleclass Ready, Set, Goal! How to Get Real and Get Goaling on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 12 p.m. Central (1 p.m. Eastern, 11 a.m. Mountain and 10 a.m. Pacific). During this class, women business owners will gain an edge as "The Goals Guy," Gary Ryan Blair, shares his business-building strategies for setting and achieving goals.

"Everyone sets goals, but mastering the steps needed to fulfill those goals is a skill that's often overlooked," said Michelle Swanda, marketing manager for The Principal®. "This teleclass will help women business owners realize that goal setting is about utilizing time, having a set plan and using every second to expand business opportunities."

The teleclass on Dec. 5 is part of The Principal Women in Business Teleclass Series designed to offer business development strategies to women business owners. All classes take place on "Teleclass Tuesdays" and run through December. The 2007 teleclass series kicks off on January 30.
