Keep your contact information current

With our enhanced fraud protection, we monitor your Principal Bank debit and ATM card(s) for unusual activity. If fraudulent card use is suspected, we take steps to protect you.

First, we'll call you to verify whether the transactions in question are legitimate. If we're unable to reach you, restrictions may be placed on your card temporarily until we can verify that your card or card information hasn't fallen into the wrong hands.

To help us protect you, please let us know if your telephone number and address have changed. You can review and update your contact information quickly and easily through your secure principalbank.com login. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Principal Bank account
  2. Click on "Preferences" at the top of the page
  3. Click on the "Change personal preferences" link

You can also update your contact information by calling a personal banker at 1.800.672.3343 from 7 AM to 9 PM (Central Time), Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

Also, be sure to let us know if you plan to travel outside of the United States. Give us a call at 1.800.672.3343 and let us know ahead of time. We'll make sure you're able to use your card without any problem.

Our number one priority is keeping your money safe. Help us help you by keeping your contact information current.
