Account Information Access by Internet
Current online banking customers: Please use your existing login ID and password. After you've logged in, go to "Preferences," at the top right above the navigation bar, to create your own unique login and/or password.
New Principal Bank Internet Customers: Access your Principal Bank account online by following these easy steps:
- Go to www.principalbank.com. In the left navigation bar, under "Quick Links," click on "Online Banking Enrollment" or type the following in your web browser:
https://secure02.principal.com/bank/apps/custenroll/index.do - Please enter the required information to validate your identity, including your Social Security Number, your birthdate, your email address and one of your Principal Bank account numbers. This is a secure form, and all information you enter on the Online Enrollment Form will be protected with strong encryption.
- Now you can create your own unique Login ID and password. Please do not use your Social Security Number for your Login ID or password. Both must be 6 to 20 characters in length, must contain both numbers and letters and are case sensitive. Special characters are suggested, but not required.
You will receive an email from Principal Bank letting you know that you've successfully enrolled for Online Access to your Principal Bank accounts.
Once you've created and memorized your new login ID and password, you're ready to enjoy the convenience of banking online!
