Transfer FAQs
When does my account information update on the Internet?Updated information is available daily, Tuesday through Saturday, around 4 AM Central for the prior day's processed activity, including checks you've written that posted to your account yesterday evening. Your electronic transactions, such as direct deposits of payroll and ATM and debit card activity, adjust and update your account balance online as they occur in real-time. No banking activity is processed on weekends or federal holidays. Can I customize my current LoginID and password?Yes, we suggest you no longer use your Social Security Number. Your login ID must be between 6-20 characters, and can be any combination of alpha, numeric and special characters. Your login ID and password are case-sensitive. Your password must be between 6-20 characters and can be any combination of alpha, numeric and special characters. Can I receive a new Internet password by e-mail?For security reasons, we cannot e-mail you a new password. If you've forgotten your password, please call a Personal Banker at 1.800.672.3343 from 7 AM to 9 PM (CST), seven days a week. What is the difference between "Contact Us" and the "Messages" tab?The "Contact Us" form located at the top and bottom of each page, sends an email to the bank and is intended for general questions. The "Messages" tab, located at the far right of the top navigation bar, is secure and specific to you and your account. You can choose from four categories of inquiry for the subject of your messages:
Because you are logged into your account while using the "Messages" feature, you do not need to provide personal information such as your name or account number. The "Messages" tab is a new and more personalized feature designed to save you time and provide an extra level of security to your online inquiries. What can I do in "Preferences"?From "Preferences", located at the top right of your screen above the navigation bar, you can change a variety of options on your account:
Coming soon, you will be able to set up alerts (a message that something you wanted to know about has happened, for example, your account balance has reached an amount you previously determined) and personal reminders. Will my Quicken or Microsoft Money downloads change?Yes. Please refer to our new download instructions (PDF: 530). Transfer FAQsWhat types of accounts can I transfer "to" and "from"?Refer to the Transfers chart in the transfers section. Can I transfer money to any other financial institution, or only those that also have Money Movement?You can transfer money to any financial institution in the United States and U.S. Territories that allows inbound and/or outbound ACH transactions. The institution does not need to have Money Movement capabilities. What are the cut-off times for transfers?The cutoff time for Standard Transfers is 11:00 AM Central. Will transfers be initiated over the weekend?No, external transfers are processed according to the Federal Reserve processing schedule (no processing on weekends or Federal Holidays). Are there limits on how much money I can transfer out? In?Yes. You can view your individual limits on the "Transfer Funds" page by clicking on "Learn More About Limits" when you schedule a transfer or see the chart below. There are daily and monthly limits for both inbound and outbound transfers.
* Monthly (rolling 30 day period) How long will it take for the money to be sent and posted?Three business days. When you set up a transfer, enter a "Send Date". You will be provided with a "Deliver By" date to let you know when you can exptect the transfer to be completed. Can either person on a joint account initiate transfers?Yes, either joint owner can initiate external transfers. How do any dollar limits apply when both owners are initiating transfers?Dollar limits and fees apply to each owner individually. Both owners can initiate transfers within the normal limits listed above. |
