Variable life and/or variable annuity regulatory documents
Here's how you can sign up to receive these regulatory documents (Prospectus, Semiannual Fund Reports, Annual Fund Reports) electronically:
- Login to Principal.com to change your Subscriptions and E-mail Preferences (located under Tools in the left navigation)
- Check the box next to e-Delivery of regulatory documents
- Select the "Submit Account Services Preferences"

Have your retirement plan with The Principal? Sign up for online statements:
- Login to Principal.com and Change Statement Delivery options
- Choose the option for receiving statements electronically
- Select Continue and follow the instructions to confirm your choice

Tired of getting paper Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements? Get notified by e-mail when medical claims, dental claims, and vision claims are available online. Follow these steps to sign up:
- Login to principal.com and change your Explanation of Benefits Delivery options
- Select "Sign up for Electronic Delivery"
Mutual fund account statements
Access your statements quickly and securely by signing up for electronic delivery:
- Login to principal.com
- Click on "Details" next to your mutual fund account
- Select "Statements" on the left
- Click on "Change your E-Delivery Settings"
- Choose the option for receiving statements electronically
