Types of internships available
Learn about the several types of internships available at The Principal, including how to apply:
Traditional Internships - Gain hands-on experience for 3 months over the summer. You'll work on challenging projects, network with professionals and learn from some of the best minds in the financial services business. Additionally, 10 outstanding interns will be honored with a VIP Scholarship of $2,500, to be used for college expenses the following academic year.
Long-Term Internships/Co-ops - Essentially, this is a longer-term internship. Co-ops typically last six to nine months, allowing for more hands-on and in-depth training to work on a variety of projects.
The Principal Scholars Program - Began in 1992 as a way to promote diversity and attract a wide range of student interns. The program includes an optional paid summer internship and a $5,000 scholarship award.
