I have the trust of my leadership. I’m able to work with little direction and guidance and they allow me to do so. It feels great to have a sense of ownership in what I do. As an administrative coordinator, I assist account executives by coordinating annual retirement plan reviews between a client, their broker and our account executives.
Although I’ve been here a short time, I’ve been able to take advantage of the internal job posting process. Recently, I changed roles to be able to work more closely with all of the parties that have an interest in making our client’s retirement plans successful. Prior to taking the role of administrative coordinator, I was a client transition technician where I ensured the timely and accurate handling of various pension processes. That role was a great stepping stone – it provided the preparation and foundation for what I do today.
