Jeff's Story
Before I joined The Principal, I was an IT recruiter at another organization. I recruited for business analyst-type roles. So, it’s interesting that now I’m making a career out of that type of role myself.
As an IT business analyst, I act as a bridge – connecting the business and technical side of projects. Once business needs have been determined, I write the IT requirements and update them, as needed, throughout the project. Already, I’ve been able to see a major project to completion.
On the projects team every day is different. At times, this job requires putting in some extra hours to get the job done. But, that’s where work/life balance comes in. Although some days might be longer than others, I have the flexibility I need to take time off for personal things as well.
Although I haven’t been here long, I know that my work makes a difference. The Principal does a good job of recognizing the value that employees bring to the company and celebrating our accomplishments.
