Jennifer's Story
As someone who craves information and simply likes learning something new, my role at The Principal couldn’t be a better match for me. In my position as a marketing communications consultant, I’m given the challenge of turning information into effective communications. In particular, I create and execute marketing communication plans in support of our health insurance products. I also write print and electronic materials for clients and plan members.
More than anything else, my “can-do” attitude has helped me find success at The Principal. Whatever the task, I’m up for it. If I’m not sure how to do something, I’ll find the answers.
Prior to my current role, I was part of a rotational program within our Life and Health Division. There, I was able to work on a number of short-term assignments, including employee development. This opportunity helped me to identify my interest areas and match my skills to marketing communications. Finding the perfect career has been one of my greatest accomplishments yet!
