Nicole's Story
I’m proud to be part of our new leadership development rotational program. This year, we hired our first “class” into the leadership development rotational program in an effort to attract high performing college graduates. In my role, I lead the associates and manage the overall program including rotational assignments, mentoring relationships, community involvement, and development activities.
There’s always a new challenge – something new to learn. In each position, I’ve learned new skills, developed new relationships and prepared for the next opportunity.
In my first position at The Principal, I was an executive compensation analyst – working with the company’s senior management on their total compensation packages. Later, I moved into an executive recruiter role, interviewing and sourcing executive level candidates. As a recent college graduate, I appreciated the trust my leadership placed in me to work with senior management.
As a large corporation, The Principal has all of the bells and whistles. But, it has a campus-type feel to it. In our corporate center, we have an on-site pharmacy, dry cleaning pick-up, cafeterias, wellness centers and so much more. These perks help make my life easier and I’m thankful for that.
