Nu's Story
As a high school senior, I had no idea what I wanted to do when I grew up. As I prepared for college, I applied for The Principal Scholars Program – a four-year scholarship that would ultimately pay for my tuition and guarantee me a paid internship each summer through college --with no strings attached.
After working here as an intern for three summers, I realized how much I enjoyed the work and the people. Right after college, I began my career with The Principal as a senior interviewer. Over time, I’ve held five different positions within Human Resources Recruiting – and everyday I continue to learn more. As campus relations manager, I develop and execute our campus relations strategy and focus on the attraction and retention of interns and college graduates.
Despite taking on various roles, I’ve been able to continue leading The Principal Scholars Program. The program continues to mean so much to me, especially when I see a group of young, talented and diverse students start out at the company and mature into great employees. It’s thrilling to be a small part of their success.
