Roshan's Story
I’m passionate about my work. At The Principal, I’ve found a place where my passion can continue to grow and allow me to do great things.
As a senior IT Application Analyst, I support and manage production issues on applications developed within Principal Bank. I also allocate IT resources and assign projects within the IT development team, based on skills and availability. Prior to taking this role, I was a lead IT application analyst for two years. In that position, I developed applications and provided production support to our team.
I’ve been fortunate to pursue opportunities within the company. But, my case isn’t the exception, it’s the norm. It’s what makes working at a global organization so appealing.
When I think about my biggest accomplishment while working here, it comes back to learning the business. In a relatively short time, I’ve learned about our business and the financial services industry. In addition, I’ve been able to complete my master’s degree while working full time. Looking back, I’m thrilled with how much professional growth I’ve had in just four years.
