Managing Director	Build and lead a team of financial professionals Develop and mentor financial professionals Build strong community relationships to expand markets
Recruiting Director	Focused on helping leadership grow our local presence through the identification of top talent Build local brand awareness Model and work with other field leaders to build a culture focused on professional development and growth
Development Director	Partner with leadership to train, develop and mentor new and experienced agents Coach producers to new professional heights Implement national development programs at the local level

Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders Program is a leadership development program for existing financial sales professionals providing the knowledge, skills and ability to job sample a leadership role to help assess if a full-time leadership position is right.

Upon successful completion of the second year in the program—and with mutual interest and position availability—you can pursue a full-time management contract as a managing director, recruiting director or development director, depending on business center needs and open positions.

Selection criteria:

Demonstrate a history of sales success
Demonstrate a knowledge of Principal Financial Group's systems and tools
Undergo management assessment
Participate in an interview process that includes field and home office management
