About the Conference
The Principal Leadership Conference is a two-day conference that takes place in the spring in Des Moines, Iowa – The Principal corporate headquarters.
At the conference you'll have an opportunity to attend multiple workshops, including:
- Leadership and conflict resolution
- Career development
- Resume and interviewing skills
- Team building
- Public speaking
If you are selected to attend you will:
- Be entered to win a scholarship* money

Eligibility and selection criteria
To qualify, you need to:
- Be current freshman status/first year of undergraduate program
- Be involved in extracurricular activities
- Have at least a 3.0 grade point average
- Demonstrate leadership qualities
- Preference given to an i ndustry related major such as liberal arts, business, information systems, finance or accounting
