Since 2000, The Principal® and the Principal Financial Group Foundation, Inc., have awarded more than $100 million to nonprofit organizations that are making a difference in the communities where our employees work and live.
Find out more about this program, including who can apply and how to apply for a grant.
The Principal Volunteer Network, our employee volunteer organization, is committed to promoting volunteerism throughout the company. It is made up of employees actively seeking to improve the quality of life in their community.
If you have a volunteer need in a location where The Principal has employees, tell us about it.
Surplus office supplies, equipment and computers are sometimes available to nonprofit organizations that meet our criteria for the community grants program.
If you’re located near one of our major employment centers and have specific in-kind donation needs, let us know. We’ll see what we can do.
Employees, retirees and qualifying agents/producers can increase the impact of their gifts through our matching gift program for United Way, Higher Education and qualifying K-12 Foundations (including Dollars for Scholars). Employees of The Principal can access more information on Inside The Principal.
The Principal supports events that are meaningful and enrich our communities.
