401-K Challenge Strikeout Leaders
Congratulations to the winners!
- Congratulations to the Kinston Indians for pitching 401 strikeouts first on Friday, July 9, 2010. Indians pitcher Martin Popham struck out Peter Hissey of the Salem Red Sox in the top of the seventh, to record the Kinston Indians’ 401st home strikeout of the season.
- Congratulations to Gail Fleming of Pikeville, North Carolina, who won the Grand Prize of $5,000 by choosing the Kinston Indians to win.
- The local first prizes will be awarded to one contestant per team.
