When you choose voluntary benefits from Principal Life, you can target employee needs with the right education program for your company.
All our preferred education programs feature a salaried professional so there are no high-pressure sales tactics. Employees purchase the benefits they need and can afford – reducing the possibility of employees canceling coverage and creating more work for you.
- Group - Employees attend a group meeting to learn about their Principal Life benefits, why they are important and how to sign up for coverage. Allow up to 30 minutes for each group meeting, depending on the number of benefits offered, with at least 15 minutes between sessions.
- One-on-one benefit only - Employees meet one-on-one to receive a personalized insurance needs analysis – reviewing their Principal Life benefits, how they work, and their importance. They also get help with enrollment. Allow up to 15 minutes, depending on the number of benefits offered, for each meeting.
- One-on-one Principal Work SecureSM - Employees meet one-on-one to receive a personalized insurance and financial needs analysis - reviewing their Principal Life benefit options, as well as evaluating their individual life, disability and retirement needs. They also receive a personalized, action-oriented roadmap and help with enrollment. Allow up to 30 minutes, depending on the number of benefits offered, for each meeting.
Plus, for qualified groups of 25 lives or more, we have the ability to waive participation requirements, if you take advantage of our preferred education programs.
