If you need a more flexible healthcare solution that enables you to better control costs, yet provide employees with options, Benefit Choice and Network Choice designs from Principal Life may help fulfill your needs.
The employee choice program offers:
- Network Choice Options - Employees can choose the PPO network that best meets their individual needs. Employers with multiple locations can choose the local networks they prefer rather than settling for another carrier’s proprietary network.
- Network choice is available when at least one employee is enrolled in each PPO network option.
- Network choice is available only in locations where we offer multiple PPO networks.
- Employers with employees outside PPO network service areas may select a comprehensive benefit design for these employees.
- Benefit Choice Designs – Offer two benefit designs so employees can choose which design better meets their needs.
- Benefit choice designs are available when at least 10 employees enroll for medical coverage and at least one employee is enrolled in each benefit design option.
- Employers with employees outside of PPO network service areas may select a comprehensive benefit design for these employees.
- Benefit choice designs are available in all states where we actively market medical insurance except for small groups in Arizona, California, Colorado and for all sized groups in Wyoming.
