Principal HealthyConnections for Dental, Disability, Life and Vision Insurance*

Maintaining good physical, financial and mental health is not always easy, which is why Principal Life Insurance Company is offering valuable discounts and services to all customers with group dental, disability, life or vision insurance coverage. These discounted services and special products are available for both existing and new cases.

Individuals covered under group dental, disability, life or vision policies now have access to a number of discounts and services including:

• Tobacco Cessation — Access to the American Cancer Society's telephone-based tobacco cessation counseling program, Quitline^® may help customers reduce the risk of heart attack, lung cancer and emphysema. Available to employees covered under Principal Life's group dental, disability, life or vision insurance contracts.
• Oral Health — Once a discount only available to group dental customers, now all group customers can take advantage of the discounts to help fight tooth decay with Epic Xylitol toothpaste, oral rinse, mints and gum. Available to employees covered under Principal Life’s group dental, disability, life or vision insurance contracts.
• Weight Loss — Insurance customers can now lose weight with help from Weight Watchers programs, including an online program, at a reduced rate. Available to employees covered under Principal Life’s group dental, disability, life or vision insurance contracts.
• Laser Vision Correction Discount — Through the National Lasik Network, which is administered by LCA-Vision, Inc., significant savings are offered on one of the most frequently performed elective surgeries in America. Quality care is offered by credentialed surgeons at over 500 provider locations across the U.S. Available to employees and their dependents covered under Principal Life's group dental, disability, life or vision insurance contracts.
• Hearing Aid Discount Program — Through American Hearing Benefits (AHB) Inc., significant savings are offered on all styles of digital hearing aids. Hearing aids come with a full two-year extended warranty at no additional charge. The program also includes free annual hearing screenings. Available to employees covered under Principal Life's group dental, disability, life or vision insurance. This benefit is also available to the employees' spouse, children, parents and grandparents.
• Vision Discount Program — Through the VSP Access Plan, discounts are available on vision products and services provided by a nationwide network of VSP providers. Available to employees and their dependents covered under Principal Life's group dental or vision insurance contracts.
• Employee Assistance Program — Professional assistance available for dealing with issues including family matters, divorce, and stress management. Also provides resources on parenting, safety, community services and more. Available to employees and their dependents covered under Principal Life's group disability insurance contracts.
• Financial Services Hotline — Experienced financial professionals are available to beneficiaries who need help planning for their financial future with the proceeds from a group life insurance policy. Available to beneficiaries of Principal Life’s group life insurance contracts.
• Grief Support Services — Experienced licensed professionals are available to provide confidential guidance and helpful strategies to beneficiaries needing emotional support. Available to beneficiaries of Principal Life's group life insurance contracts.
• Will Preparation Services** — Employees covered for group term or voluntary term life have free access to Will Preparation Services provided by ARAG Services, LLC. Through this value-added service, employees are able to create a will, living will, healthcare power of attorney and financial power of attorney. Also included is a valuable identity theft kit providing employees with information on how to protect themselves. In the event of identity theft, an action kit will assist the individual in restoring and reclaiming their identity.
