Principal Reimbursement ArrangmentSM
The Principal Reimbursement Arrangement offers benefits much like a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). It gives you greater freedom of choice in your personal health care decisions. Each year, your employer makes a predetermined amount available to you through the reimbursement arrangement. Depending on the design selected, these funds can be used to pay for either 50% or 100% of each eligible medical expense until your balance reaches zero, and then you simply pay the remainder of the deductible and out-of-pocket expenses.
Other benefits include:
- Claim payments are integrated for seamless submission and less paperwork. Everything, including reimbursement benefits, is handled through a single claim.
- You may accumulate reimbursement benefits for future use. Unused reimbursement benefits can roll over to future calendar years, up to a total amount equal to the PPO out-of-pocket expense limit
