South Atlantic Region
South Atlantic Region Yew Dell Secret Garden Restoration, 1940 Plan to rehabilitate the overgrown secret garden as a display area of shade perennials.
Kentucky
GC of Kentucky, Inc. Rose Arbor Restoration-Wallis Arboretum, 1939 NGC past President, Nannine Clay Wallis had the arbor during her term of office. Time has ravished the arbor. Complete replacement is necessary for safety and maintenance. This is the site of the state headquarters of the Garden Club of Kentucky.
Laurel Oak GC Harmon Park Fountain Renovation, 1925 Repairs to the fountain and wall followed by landscaping with shrubs and perennials.
Middlesboro GC Victorian Garden, 1890 Creating a Victorian Garden at the city tourism/museum.
North Carolina
The GC of North Carolina Martha Franck Fragrance Garden, 1845 Planting 21 antique roses in the Rose Keyhole of the garden to enable the students to identify their location in the garden.
Reidsville GC/Reidsville G Council Blue Star Memorial Restoration After moving and restoration, a new five segment star garden will be planted with perennials.
Roanoke Island GC Elizabethan Gardens Topiary This Elizabethan pleasure garden will be introduced to portable animal topiary. These wire forms will be stuffed by members with ivy cuttings and maintained by them. Educational programs will be provided.
Town & Country GC Miriam Hasty Bright/Whiteville Cemetery A garden at the entrance to the cemetery has been a club project for 40 years and is in dire need of professional tree trimming and new plantings.
South Carolina
GC of South Carolina, Inc GCSC Memorial Garden Preservation, 1945

Refurbish the garden with assistance from certified arborist and landscapers to improve condition of plant materials and make necessary repairs to hardscape.

Georgetown GC Restore Stewart-Parker House Gardens, 1770 Restore existing gardens by refurbishing overgrown plants, removing plants unsuited to environment and installing those that are native to the area. Flowering trees are included in the plan.
Greenville Council of GC Southern Heritage Preservation Garden, 1838 Terraced concentric circles of heirloom plants will be beautiful and educational. Featuring mostly white flowers or silver leaves, the garden will also be accented with curved benches.
Lake and Hills GC of Keowee Key Hunnicutt Cemetery, 1807 Project to improve and preserve the existing garden with stone bench and several plantings of flowering trees and shrubs.
Virginia
Virginia Federation of GC, Inc James Monroe Birthsite Restoration, 1600's

Project will create a border around the foundation area and a period kitchen garden with the area. An historic orchard replicating one present at the time of Monroe's birth will be initiated as a setting for the time-line path.

Blue Ridge District Margaret Healey Garden, 1908 A garden honoring state president, Margaret Healey will be created at the historic Norfolk & Western Passenger Station in Roanoke based on historic photos of the station from 1949's remodeling.
West Virginia
Paden GC Victorian Memorial Garden, 1903 In honor of the city's 100-year anniversary, the club will create a seasonal old-fashioned garden to honor all 30 past mayors. The garden will include small flowering trees, shrubs, and perennials.
