Fixed Deferred Annuity Rate Lock-In Procedures
The Lock-In Rate for the above Fixed Deferred Annuities will be the greater of:
- The rate in effect on the date the client signs the application, or
- The rate in effect the day the funds arrive in Home Office.
Applications must be received in the Home Office within 14 calendar days following the client's signature date. Applications beyond the 14th calendar day will receive the current rate in effect at the time the funds are received. For the 1035 Exchanges/Rollovers/Direct Transfers, funds must be received in the Home Office within 60 calendar days following the client's signature date.
