Deliver the Dream - Generation Dream
May 2011—Fort Lauderdale, FL - Jermell Williams, Financial Representative of the South Florida Business Center, also serves the community as the Founder and President of Generation Dream, an affiliate of Deliver the Dream.
Generation Dream, young professionals connecting for a cause, hosted a "Retreat Happy Hour" at Chima Steakhouse on Las Olas to benefit the Deliver the Dream family retreats. The evening featured guest speaker James McKnight, former NFL football wide receiver who played for the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins and New York Giants.
The event was a success, with over 100 people in attendance and earning over $5,000 for Deliver the Dream, which helps families facing serious illness and crises. This is the first in a series of events Generation Dream plans throughout the summer to benefit Deliver the Dream.

Pearson Participates in 2011 Men of Distinction Celebration
March 2011—The South Florida Business Center's Thomas Pearson participated in the 2011 Men of Distinction celebration supporting the Frank C. Martin International K-8 Center, part of the Miami-Dade County Public School System.

Deliver the Dream
November 2010—Fort Lauderdale, FL - The South Florida Business Center of the Principal Financial Group® added their support to the 7th Annual Denim and Diamonds Gala for Deliver the Dream where over $1 million was raised. The event was held October 30th, 2010 at the Marriot Harbor Beach Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale. Deliver the Dream helps families facing serious illness and crises.
Sharing the evening at The Principal Financial Group table were Mike Baldoni, volunteer and sponsor for the Deliver the Dream, Linus Diedling, long time client and friend, Madeline Garcia, PFG client and Immigration Attorney, Lou Barrionuevo, Regional Managing Director and Shannon Barrett, Managing Director, Jim Kar, Financial Advisor and Ileana Brink, Sales Support Specialist. Not pictured, Walter Pieciak, client of the company and Jay Baskin, Charitable Gifting Attorney.
