Meet the Southwest Business Center Team

John Ledesma is the Managing Director for the Oklahoma City office of the Southwest Business Center. He first joined the Principal Financial Group^® in August 2005 as a Senior Financial Services Representative and Princor Registered Representative. John has over 23 years experience in the financial services industry in which he devoted much time developing his own practice helping businesses and individuals achieve financial success. He now partners with financial professionals to help them build their practice. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce. John enjoys spending time with his three children - Brittany, Lance, and Alexandra and loves to spoil his granddaughter, Ferrah.  He is active in coaching an inner-city youth wrestling program and is an avid OU fan.

Philip J. Pyrz is the Managing Director in our Addison office. Since Phil joined the Addison office, the Business Center has finished each year as one of the best in the region and Phil has been recognized as one of the company's top Managing Directors. Phil has more than 14 years of experience in financial services. Whether it's his leadership in the Southwest Business Center, the industry or the community, Phil's philosophy is simple and two-fold: Continue to find new ways to bring value to the financial professionals in his organization and make every day count. Prior to his management role, Phil was a Regional Vice President for the company's Life Distribution in the West territory, a 26 state region, promoting Principal Life's insurance products and solutions. Phil holds a B.A. in Business Management from North Carolina State University. He and his wife, Amy, have been married for 10 years, and they have one delightful daughter, Morgan. They enjoy traveling, biking and running.

Jeff Campbell has been in the financial services industry since 1979.  He began working as the Development Director for the Southwest Business Center in March 2007.  He assists our producers in developing a personal business plan so they may achieve their goals.  Jeff graduated with a BA from Kansas Newman College majoring in American Studies and Secondary Education.  He and his wife, Deborah, have been married for over 30 years with two sons, Christopher and John.

Torri Gomez has been in the financial services industry since 1994, and has worked for the Principal Financial Group^® since 2000.  She oversees operations of the Business Center, assists the management team with agency development, producer recruiting and selection and helps to ensure we are providing high quality service to producers, prospects, and clients.  She is native to the Fort Worth, Texas area, growing up on a farm in Weatherford helping her family participate in various livestock shows throughout the state.  She enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and is a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan.
