Retiree Health Insurance
Only retirees were asked how their health insurance is covered. The majority (47%) responded it is covered with Medicare and a Medicare supplement plan. One fourth of retirees are still covered by their former employer. Females are significantly more likely than males to be covered by Medicare only (12% versus 5%).
