Peter D. Seltz CLU®, ChFC®, MBA - Regional Managing Director
As Regional Managing Director for the Houston Business Center and with over 25 years in the financial services industry, Pete is passionate about building a dynamic environment focused on helping community partners, financial professionals, and benefits firms enhance their collective potential. Pete strives to help his financial professionals grow their practices and serve their customers. Pete graduated from St. John's University and received his MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of St. Thomas.
Neal Cloer - Managing Director
A former member of the United States Navy Seabees with over 13 years of experience, Neal works with business owners and individuals helping to prepare families and businesses to create financial strategies now and in the future. As a Managing Director, Neal actively recruits, trains and develops financial professionals and is a member of NAIFA, The PGA of America, and a volunteer with The First Tee of Austin.
Neal's free time is spent outdoors and enjoying the live music scene with his three sons and significant other, Jill.
Alan L. Holland, RICP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CLF® - Associate Managing Director
As Associate Managing Director for the Houston office, Alan brings over 30 years of insurance and financial experience to his team of highly successful financial professionals to help them grow professionally and reach their potential. The Houston office works to provide professional development, business planning assistance, marketing support, and a culture of inclusion and flexibility.
Alan and his wife, Danna have lived in Houston for over 30 years and have four children.
Amber Z. Jones, CLF® - Assistant Director Field Operations
Amber’s role as an Assistant Director allows her to impact what she is most passionate about, people. She has been driving strategic initiatives and leading teams in the Financial Services industry for more than 20 years. Her primary objective is to lead highly engaged teams that bring “big value” to both internal and external customers. She believes that is accomplished through proactive leadership, coaching, serving, and growing people.
Other passions are: Traveling to new places, music, and time spent with family and friends.

Amy Provezis - Business Development Consultant
Amy started with Principal in August 2019 after over 8 years of marketing experience in the financial services industry. As a Business Development Consultant, she partners with the management team and representatives to implement strategies to expand their marketing, branding, and business development efforts, at both the representative and firm level.
Amy earned her bachelor's degree in communication and minor in business from Texas A&M University – College Station.
In her spare time, she enjoys eating her way across the U.S., music, being outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with her husband, Zach and son, Landon.
Jeannette Segundo - Site Coordinator
In the spring of 2016, Jeannette joined the Houston Business Center team where she assists multiple financial professionals. As the Site Coordinator, she is responsible for general administrative work in the office and working side–by–side with her team of financial professionals as a liaison with home office departments including communications, marketing, underwriting and sales support.
Jeannette is a native of Houston and is the proud mother of two sons; Danny and Michael. She enjoys outdoor activities, watching sporting events, and spending time with loved ones.
Rachel Tovar - New Business Consultant
Rachel has been with Principal since 2005 and brings over 14 years of experience to her role as a New Business Consultant. She assists representatives and helps in the management of all aspects of new business case design and submission process. Rachel works with external partners to drive efficiencies and implement best practices in new business submissions.
In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Texans and spending time with family and friends.
Denise Moore, CLF®, CMC - Sr. Regional Business Strategist
As Regional Marketing Strategist, Denise provides one on one marketing consultations with financial professionals to create a customized marketing plan to build and grow their practice. Denise supports local branding and market development in our locations. Denise enjoys traveling to sunny vacation spots, watching sporting events and spending time with loved ones.
Mindy Pincus - Director of Field Supervision
Mindy has over 15 years of insurance and financial services experience. As a Director of Field Supervision, Mindy’s goal is to be a resource and a partner with financial professionals and managers providing education and guidance to help foster a compliant and ethical sales culture.
Mindy is active in the community and participates as a member of Women and Financial Services and the Dallas/Fort Worth Compliance Roundtable. Mindy enjoys swimming, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Sarah Lindsay - Manager Field Operations
As Field Manager-Operations Sarah has the privilege of providing team leadership to the New Business Consultants, who deliver consultation and management on all aspects of new business case design and submission. We partner closely with professionals to promote processes and services that support growth and foster success. Sarah’s team works to drive efficiencies and implement best practices in new business submissions and strengthen relationships with external partners.
Originally from England, Sarah moved to the United States 20 years ago. She enjoys working out, is an animal advocate and appreciates the opportunity to explore the many and varied states across the U.S.
Sarah Zinnel - Recruiting Support Coordinator
Sarah started with Principal Financial Group in January 2018 after over three years of recruiting and HR support experience in the staffing industry. She specializes in candidate experience and delivering quality recruiting support.
Sarah earned her bachelor's degree in communication with a focus on public relations from the University of Northern Iowa.
Sarah's interests are to visit a new spot on the globe every year, and she is also a dog enthusiast. She is dedicated to continuous education and personal improvement through overcoming fears, learning new skills, and being open-minded.
