Our goal: Deliver comprehensive, engaging financial education that empowers people at all life stages and knowledge levels to make confident financial decisions.
At Principal, we help people build financial confidence through easy-to-use digital tools, education, and resources designed for the unique needs of our customers.
Through our Principal Milestones platform, we offer practical tools, worksheets, and calculators that make financial information more approachable. Our regular webinars cover topics that matter at every life stage, while programs like Principal Hola Futuro deliver Spanish-language resources that help people take meaningful steps toward their financial goals.
We provide an educational seminar series through the Principal Financial Network--the Employee Financial Education Program--designed to make financial topics approachable and relevant for the employees of our customers.
Around the world, our teams bring local expertise to Southeast Asia and Latin America, offering regular market insights and guidance to help international customers make financial decisions.
Clear and consistent measures of progress matter in financial inclusion. This means using data-driven insights to understand the barriers to financial security and setting goals and establishing accountability to address gaps. We partner with the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr) to release the Global Financial Inclusion Index (Index). The Index ranks 41 markets on three clearly defined pillars of financial inclusion: government support, financial system support, and employer support.

Our goal: Create and implement accessible, personalized financial planning solutions that help individuals across all income levels, backgrounds, and life stages achieve their financial goals.
We're simplifying financial planning by making it easier for people to understand their choices and take positive action toward their goals. Our approach combines personal education through one-on-one sessions and group meetings with retirement education specialists, as well as outreach campaigns to support participants in taking positive steps to get the most out of their employer-sponsored retirement plans.
We also distribute financial education and advice through a nationwide network of financial professionals, Principal Financial Network, who serves individuals, business owners, and employees across diverse communities. This advisor-led model allows education to be tailored to local needs, life stages, and cultural contexts, helping provide access to advice.
We’ve also developed digital investment solutions that help customers worldwide build confident investment plans for their future.
