Dave oversees the Northern & Central California, Pacific Northwest, and Southern California regions of the Principal® Financial Network. With over three decades in the financial services industry, Dave is a recognized leader and has served as president of the National Association of Financial Advisors (NAIFA) for both the Honolulu and Silicon Valley chapters. After 21 years with Prudential, he joined Principal® in 2024. He holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Business Marketing from San Jose State University. Dave resides in El Dorado Hills, California, with his wife and daughter and enjoys hiking, traveling, sports, and history.

Jon joined Principal® in 2013 and with over a decade of financial services experience, he works with families and businesses, seeking opportunities to add value and help them become financially more confident. As a senior managing director, Jon develops and coaches a team of financial professionals who deliver solutions to help their clients. Originally from Lexington, Massachusetts, he moved to California in 2005 where he and his wife are raising their four children. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Fairfield University and he earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation in 2015 and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2023. Jon has Series 7, 63, and 65 FINRA securities registrations, as well as a California Life and Health Insurance License.

Brad is a managing director with the Principal Financial Network of Northern California and Central California Region. With over 24 years of experience in financial services, Brad has developed a strong record of accomplishment in organizational leadership and talent development. He has held a variety of financial services positions and most recently was the director of leadership development, where he specialized in hiring, onboarding, and training financial professionals and leadership teams to drive success and foster a culture of excellence. Brad's leadership qualities lie in communication, problem-solving, recruiting and relationship building.

Matt is a managing director with the Northern California/Central California Region, where he is passionate about developing and coaching financial professionals to follow a format for success. With more than a decade of financial services experience, Matt works with families and businesses alike focusing on their needs and adding value where there is opportunity. He provides comprehensive and innovative solutions to business owners designed to help them protect their business, their employees, and their personal lifestyle.

Amber drives operational excellence in partnership with the regional and territory leaders. Through leadership of and in partnership with a team of territorial support staff she strives to deliver solutions to help financial professionals cultivate compliant and best in class practices.

Tim leads a team of new business consultants and works closely with corporate partners to develop processes which enable the team to provide a high level of service to the representatives in the territory.

Daniel works with the management team and financial representatives to implement strategies to expand their marketing, branding, and business development efforts at both the representative and regional office level.

Michelle works alongside the management team and financial representatives to create and implement initiatives designed to boost marketing, enhance branding, and drive business development at both the individual representative and regional office levels.

Olivia directs the design and submission of new business cases. Working together with financial professionals and their teams, along with corporate product partners, she verifies that all cases are submitted with precision and adhere to product area processes. Olivia's commitment to excellence ensures timely processing and a seamless client experience.

Cameron facilitates the design and submission of new business cases. Collaborating with financial professionals and their teams, as well as corporate product partners, he meticulously reviews submissions to ensure they meet all necessary criteria. Cameron’s attention to detail helps maintain a smooth workflow, benefiting both financial professionals and internal stakeholders.

Susan is responsible for consulting and managing new business case design and submission. She works with financial professionals and their teams, along with our corporate product partners, to ensure cases are submitted accurately so they can be processed on time and in alignment with product area processes.

Cody oversees the preparation and submission of new business cases, working closely with financial professionals, their teams, and corporate product partners. By thoroughly reviewing submissions to ensure they meet all required standards, he plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient workflow, benefiting both financial professionals and internal teams. Cody’s keen attention to detail ensures seamless operations throughout the process.

Martha plays a crucial role in ensuring our offices operate efficiently. Working closely with the entire team, she serves as a skilled troubleshooter who addresses challenges head-on. Martha takes pride in making sure inquiries are handled promptly. With her proactive approach and attention to detail, Martha contributes to a supportive environment where client needs are prioritized.

Sylvia is the glue that keeps our offices running smoothly. Along with the entire staff, she is a problem solver who helps make sure accounts are set up properly and questions are answered in a timely fashion.

Haley partners with the management team to provide comprehensive support to all new financial representative candidates through the onboarding and initial marketing launch processes. This includes scheduling exams, ordering background checks, and in preparing contracting and registration paperwork.

Mari Jo assists the management team with their supervisory and regulatory responsibilities. She is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the firm by ensuring activities comply with regulatory requirements, laws, and firm policies.

Her expertise is in recruiting, with a focus on identifying, hiring, and retaining top talent with strong business acumen and strategic problem-solving skills. Jane is passionate about fostering collaboration while upholding the values of client service, operational excellence, and market growth. Lisa has decades of experience in the financial services industry with a career that started managing credit union relationships on the West Coast. She joined Principal® in 2008 to focus on sourcing registered financial professional and leader talent. She finds great satisfaction in this role as she lives out the company’s values and mission, bringing new talent from across the country into our culture of inclusion and diversity, where both specific and holistic practices thrive.

Melville is an experienced financial services leader with a strong background in wealth management sales and a commitment to servant leadership. Skilled in managing, coaching, and mentoring teams of over 1,000 professionals, including sales coaches, financial and wealth advisors, client relationship consultants, and senior managers, both directly and indirectly. Proven success in guiding advisor teams to integrate key principles of practice management, business planning, insights discovery, advisor technology resources, and the consultative sales process into their operations. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Business and is a proud lifetime member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in business administration and The National Society of Leadership and Success.
