Investment Strategy![]() The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities of companies with large market capitalizations that, in the fund's investment advisor's opinion, display characteristics of a "blue chip" company. The advisor tends to focus on securities of companies that show potential for growth of capital as well as an expectation for above average earnings. The fund also invests in securities of foreign companies. |
