Russell 1000 Growth Index is a market-capitalization weighted index of those firms in the Russell 1000 with higher price-to-book ratios and higher forecasted growth values.

This investment option is considered non-diversified, which means it, or the underlying mutual fund, can invest a higher percentage of its assets in of fewer individual issuers than a diversified investment.
