Debt is different and short-term finances may be a struggle.

For over half of Hispanic/Latino workers, debt is an issue that impacts their day-to-day lives. Only 40% say they can enjoy life now because of how they're handling money and 58% plan on working in retirement or a phased retirement.

Employer-sponsored plans are the primary source of retirement income.

This could be why Hispanic/Latino savers are planning to work longer. 86% plan to leverage their employer-sponsored plan as a top source of income.
 
 

They have a goal but aren't confident they'll reach it.

Despite being enrolled in employer-sponsored retirement plans and expressing a desire to learn more about financial security, Hispanic/Latino workers still aren't sure they're on the right track. 84% have a savings goal, but only 36% are confident they'll achieve it.

More time with family tops the list of what Hispanic/Latino retirement savers hope to do later in life. 7 out of 10 expect to live near one of their children in retirement. 61% feel family support is essential during retirement and 26% feel they'll need to provide financial support for parents or inlaws in retirement.
